I recently contributed two songs to the new 'Bloodstains Across Ontario' compilation. Ontario is the third release in Mammoth Cave Records provincial surveying of Canadian punk and weirdo music. The first tune I submitted is a Twig ditty called 'Vile City' about urban violence, the second is a cover of Daryl Hall's great 'NYCNY' except we changed it to 'TORON' as all the tunes submitted were supposed to touch on the eponymous geography. Both tunes are about a minute long as all material submitted to the comp had to fit on a single 7 inch record. Neat idea all in all.
The things are flying off the racks, so you should pre-order now if interested. Collectors item for anyone who reads this blog as two of my musical pursuits are contained therein.
