Here's a companion piece to the 'Harpsichord Heaven' mix I posted recently.
Mellotron is another of my favourite instruments that hasn't really been in vogue for a couple of decades but makes it's mark on some of the best psychedelic music ever. This mix covers a wide variety of (mostly) progressive rock styles that made good use of the instrument.
The mix was made by Carl Didur whose main concern these days is Zacht Automaat. He makes all my paisley talk look real silly as he is a true master of warped pop psychscapes. I'm a lucky guy to play with him in both Plastic Factory and my eponymous concern.
